Sr. Staff Reginal Marketing Engineer (IoT Wireless Products)

Job Description

1.     Business Development in focus IoT segments to grow the design funnel in China region.

2.     Business Management including key customer engagement, business forecast and planning, etc.

3.     Product and Marketing promotion including distribution/customer training and marcom events.

4.     Define China marketing strategy for the related products. Collect market demand, analyze competition and define product roadmap together with BU product marketing team.

5.     Manage quotation and technical support resource to win business.

6.     Find and collaborate with partners on both technical and commercial area.

7.     Collaborate with regional sales, FAE and distribution resources to win business.

8.     Cover IoT wireless products including WiFi, BT/BLE, WiFi/BT Combo and Wireless SoC.


Required Skills

1.     Minimum bachelor’s degree, majored in EE or related subjects > 5 years working experiences in Electronics/Semiconductors products

2.     Technical background is MUST, wireless and IoT related knowledges would be a plus

3.     Knowledges IoT MCU, WiFi, BT/BLE for both technical and business.

4.     Good presentation skill, capable to convince others.

5.     Fluent in written and spoken English/Chinese

6.     Willing to face pressure and have passion to win business

7.     Team work, energetic, aggressive and self-motivated.

8.     Frequent travel is required. 

9.      Strong communication ability, possess the gravitas to develop and maintain positive relationship with both internal and external stakeholders.


Sr. Strategic Pricing Marketing Engineer

Job Description

1.     Helping to define the direction of company/industry through identification of new trends, and mapping of technology/product development to support those trends through effective new product definition and segmentation;

2.     Setting the global pricing strategy based on depth knowledge of market landscape, customer trends and competitor offerings, establish and guide the regional team on execution;

3.     Guide the regional pricing in key account pricing negotiation;

4.     Analyzing competitive landscape in order to understand and exploit competitive weaknesses, and to maximize market value for Cypress products;

5.     Arrange the regular review meeting with regional pricing/marketing team/BU;

6.     Lead and driving any pricing activity or project, working with cross function team from sales, operation and BU.

7.     Be the contact window of the BU you will own, present the pricing metrics and impact the high-level BU stakeholders;

8.     Create the VBS pricing model and train sales team about the product selling value;

9.     Understanding market pricing and the impact it has on Cypress products and the company’s profitability. You must have excellent communications skills, written and verbal, technical and business skills, and a customer service orientation;

10.  You should have the ability to juggle multiple projects with multiple priorities and be capable of formulating and negotiating solutions for Cypress and our customers;

11.  You must be smart and capable of creative problem solving;

12.  You will be working in teams as well as individually, and should be capable of building relationships within and outside of Cypress.


Required Skills

1.     2-5 years pricing, business analytic, sourcing or marketing working experience

2.     Semiconductor product knowledge or auto market/product knowledge, technically proficient.

3.     Excellent communications skills, written and verbal, technical and business skills, and a customer service orientation.

4.     Ability to juggle multiple projects with multiple priorities.

5.     Ability to gather and organize large amounts of data.

6.     Ability to interface with and influence sales and management team.

7.     Undergraduate degree in electrical/computer engineering, economics, finance, mathematics, or related field required.

8.     Good English is must-have.

9.     Good German or Japanese is a plus.
